Basic technical data
Web hosting may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access for security, reliability and aggregate traffic measurement. RideIn does not currently provide user accounts or a public comment system.
Advertising and cookies
RideIn uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information, IP addresses and activity on this site to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Whether personalised advertising is used depends on location, consent choices and the settings available through the consent message.
Where consent is legally required, advertising cookies should not be used until the visitor has made a choice through a Google-certified consent management platform. Google explains how it uses information for advertising and provides controls through My Ad Centre.
External links
RideIn links to external websites for primary guidance and additional information. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies.
Your choices and future changes
You can use the consent controls shown on the site and can also control or delete cookies through your browser. The Information Commissioner's Office explains how cookies work and how browser controls affect them. Refusing optional advertising consent may result in non-personalised or limited advertising rather than removing every ad.
