How guides are researched
Evergreen guides begin with the reader’s decision or task. For UK law, public schemes and health guidance, we prefer government, NHS and relevant official sources. Product features are described generically unless a specific current model has been checked against its manufacturer.
Updates and archive labels
Substantive pages show a reviewed date. An old model review is labelled as archive content and does not imply that the model remains available. Expired deals and thin product pages are consolidated into broader guides instead of being kept alive with invented updates.
Safety boundary
Written maintenance guidance cannot inspect a reader’s bicycle. We identify safety-critical work and advise a qualified mechanic when damage, uncertainty or specialist procedures are involved. Health content is general information, not individual medical advice.
Corrections
When a material error is identified, the affected page should be corrected rather than silently defended. Time-sensitive claims should be removed or linked to a source that readers can check directly.
