How we choose the matches
We filter a selected group of 16 bikes already covered by RideIn, using their recorded prices and practical features. Matching bikes are shown from the highest recorded price within your budget downwards; this is not a quality ranking. We may show fewer than three.
This is a research shortlist, not the whole market or a fit assessment. Budget records can become outdated; prices and availability must be checked before buying. A lower-weight bike can still be difficult to carry. For hills, gears are a starting point: check the actual gradient and load on a test ride.
Commission does not change these filters. Some linked reviews contain paid links; see our affiliate disclosure.
Before you choose
- Confirm the exact model, model year, frame size and fitted battery. Similar names can hide different builds.
- Check reach, standover and lifting weight. Try the bike through your real storage route and test ride it if fit or handling is uncertain.
- Ask who assembles the bike, handles electrical diagnostics and supplies replacement batteries and chargers.
- Check the seller, final delivered price, delivery date, returns cost and written warranty before paying.
- Allow for a suitable lock, storage, luggage and weather protection alongside the bicycle budget.
